Slash Anywhere ("Slash Anywhere", "we", "us", or "our") provides a browser extension that lets you create and use slash commands, reusable variables, and related productivity features.

Information you provide or that is created through your use of Slash Anywhere
- Account information: When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile photo URL associated with your Google account.
- Commands and configuration: Your custom commands, command values, variables, domains, and related configuration may be stored locally in your browser. If you sign in, this information is synchronized with your Slash Anywhere account.
Text entered on websites
Slash Anywhere may access text fields on websites when necessary to detect and insert commands. This text is processed locally in your browser and is not sent to our servers or stored by us.
2. How We Use Information
We use information only to provide, maintain, secure, and improve Slash Anywhere and its user-facing features, including:
- creating and authenticating your account;
- synchronizing your commands and configuration across devices;
- providing command insertion and related extension functionality;
- processing Pro subscriptions and payments; and
- responding to support requests and complying with legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your information for personalized or targeted advertising.
3. Local Storage and Cloud Synchronization
Slash Anywhere can work without an account. Before you sign in, your commands and configuration are stored locally in your browser.
When you sign in with Google, your account information and supported command configuration are synchronized with our backend so that your data can be available across devices. Command and configuration data stored in our database is encrypted.
4. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services to provide specific functionality:
- Google — for authentication and account information.
- Stripe — for Pro subscription and payment processing.
We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties for advertising or unrelated purposes.
5. Data Security
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information we process. Data transmitted between the extension and our services is sent over secure connections, and supported command and configuration data stored in our database is encrypted.
6. Data Retention
We retain account and synchronized data for as long as your account remains active or as needed to provide the service. If you request account deletion, we will delete your account and associated personal data, except where we are required or permitted by law to retain specific information.

12. Chrome Web Store Limited Use
Slash Anywhere's use of information received from Google APIs and other user data complies with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We use user data only as necessary to provide and improve the extension's disclosed functionality, do not sell user data, do not use user data for personalized advertising, and do not allow humans to read user data except where permitted by applicable policy or law.
