Frequently asked questions

Does it work on every website?

Yes — it works in any text field, from email to docs to social media.*
*Some websites have their own built-in "/" commands (like Notion) which can take priority and prevent ours from triggering.

Can I use something other than "/"?

Yes. In Settings you can swap "/" for ";", "!" or any character you like — or switch to a keyboard shortcut such as ⌘+K that opens the command list without typing anything.

Is my data private?

Yes. Everything you save is encrypted, and we never track what you type.

What's included in the free version?

Up to 10 custom commands, plus built-in date, time, and emoji commands — free forever.

How do variables work?

Add a placeholder like {name} to a command, and it fills in automatically each time you use it.

Do I need an account?
